The Ultra XP extreme cold down from EXPED is a sleeping bag designed for expeditions to the coldest and highest places in the world. It's the ultimate in the EXPED range and designed to provide warmth and protection when temperatures drop to -40°C. The Ultra XP from EXPED is the warmest sleeping bag in the entire Ultra range. Specially designed for expeditions, it keeps you warm even in temperatures down to -40°C. Countless down compartments ensure even heat distribution and reliable thermal performance.

To meet the demands of such extreme temperatures, the Ultra XP has an extra wide fit. The three-dimensional anatomical cut of the foot area with 11 individually filled down compartments keeps the feet warm. A well-padded thermal collar keeps the heat inside the sleeping bag. In addition, a double zipper flap prevents cold from entering the sleeping bag. The special expedition hood provides insulation around the head. The water-repellent outer material is recycled, PFC-free and protects against moisture. For the filling, only RDS certified down is used. Despite all these nifty features, the Ultra XP is very light and is therefore the perfect companion for expedition mountaineers, extreme winter bivouacs or trips to polar regions.
