Constructed from lightweight 7075-T6 aluminum alloy, like the ultralight Corsa, it differs from the latter with its Alleima Nanoflex™ steel alloy inserts on the head and spike: critical parts that become more resistant and durable without sacrificing lightness. The shaft's curvature optimizes the striking motion without reducing functionality when bearing weight or penetrating the snow. The notched grip on its lower part ensures a secure hold. The integrated slot in the head, between the adze and the shaft, allows for the attachment of the Corsa wrist strap (available separately). It is not recommended for vertical ice climbing, difficult mixed terrain, or intensive step cutting. Alleima Nanoflex™ is an innovative steel alloy with high mechanical strength and superior hardness compared to a normal steel alloy, which allows for a reduction in the amount of metal used, significantly decreasing weight while maintaining strength.
