Protection is further provided by the high-performance rubber reinforced toe cap and the Kayland Ankle Lock system which supports your ankle while ensuring natural movement. The standout feature of the Stellar range is its sole: the foot rests directly on the soft EVA midsole which provides enhanced cushioning during foot strikes and impacts on uneven terrain. The Vibram® Stellar sole was designed exclusively for Kayland. The internal construction features a honeycomb design that lightens the structure, improves thermal insulation and provides excellent shock absorption. The dual-density PU foam-covered midsole sits atop the PU insole, which is also perforated to reduce weight and increase torsional stability. The sole contains an integrated welt to accommodate semi-automatic crampons.
